Luis Fernando Da Silva Jr., also known as "Trikz," is a highly accomplished athlete, actor, and author. Born on August 3, 1982, Da Silva gained prominence in 2001 after headlining the Nike Freestyle ad campaign, which showcased his exceptional streetball skills.

Basketball Career[edit | edit source]

Da Silva was the first streetball athlete to sign an advertising contract with Nike. He performed with Alicia Keys at New York City's Niketown and was featured in prominent magazines such as SLAM and DIME. In 2003, he became the youngest player signed to the Harlem Wizards Show basketball team. He later participated in a Harlem Globetrotters mini-camp, earning a contract with the legendary team. In 2009, Da Silva set a Guinness World Record for 24 consecutive neck catches of a basketball and was inducted into the City of Elizabeth Athletic Hall of Fame as its youngest member.
